vs
BRISTOL SHOGUNS

Saturday 10th May
15:00
Madejski Stadium, Reading

YOUR CLUB NEEDS YOUR SUPPORT FOR CRUCIAL FINAL PREMIERSHIP GAME AGAINST BRISTOL SHOGUNS

The Premiership table tells it all. After 21 games London Irish is one place off the bottom of the table with one game to play. All twelve clubs play their final games next Saturday afternoon and all kick-off at 3.00pm.

London Irish's final game is against Bristol Shoguns who are currently one place and one point ahead of the Exiles in the table. The scene is set for one of the biggest games in the Club's history.

The future destiny of London Irish as a club competing at the top end of professional rugby union in this country and in Europe lies in the hands of the squad and management and supporters.

If London Irish wins on Saturday afternoon, the club could qualify for the Wildcard play-offs which has a place in the Heineken Cup as a prize. However, if the club loses it is possible that it could be relegated.

The club is calling upon all its supporters to rally round and come to Madejski Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The magnificent stadium has a great atmosphere when the East and West Stands are full so if you are free on Saturday afternoon come along and support your team - you know how much it means to them!

Tickets are available via the Ticket Hotline on 0118 968 1000 or book online and save £5 per adult ticket.

Fans trying to buy tickets for the London Irish vs. Bristol Shoguns match this Saturday are advised to book their tickets via the website if possible.

London Irish share their ticket hotline with Reading FC, and the football club have just released their tickets for their Premiership play-off games, creating a great deal of interest and keeping the ticket office staff very busy!  If you are trying to contact the ticket hotline, please be patient and thanks for your support!

If you are able to book tickets online, this is recommended as the easiest and quickest way to buy tickets.  There are links to the online ticketing service from the London Irish Welcome Page (underneath the picture of Paul Sackey), or the Main News page, (underneath the picture of the Guinness stage).

SPRING SALE SPECIAL OFFER

The London Irish Spring Sale is still on at the Megastore.  To make way for the fantastic new Canterbury range to be launched this summer, there are some great reductions in the leisure wear range.

As a special offer for our last game of the 2002/2003 season, the London Irish Guinness shirt (including the St. Patricks Day shirt) has been reduced to just £25!  Available in limited sizes, make sure you visit the Megastore on Saturday (open from 12 noon) to get yours.

IRISH WELCOME CELTIC DANCE CHAMPIONS

The Exiles are delighted to welcome the Dunlop Academy of Irish Dance to their final home match of the season at the Madejski Stadium on Saturday, 10 May. The Irish Dance troop will be performing pitchside at half time during the crucial clash with Bristol Shoguns.

The Aldershot based Dance Academy currently holds seven Great Britain titles (two of which are for the third year running) and three All England titles. They compete regularly in national and international competitions and are one of the most successful Irish dance troops in the UK, with nearly one hundred members aged between 3 and 22 years old.

Lynn Dunlop, Principal of the Dunlop Academy, is keen to bring the award winning troop to Reading again: "We've had a great reception from the crowd at the Madejski when we've danced there before and we're really looking forward to performing on Saturday. The dancers will have a busy day as they are also collecting for our tour to Germany in June."

Irish is expecting a huge crowd for the decisive final match of the season against Bristol Shoguns, and the Irish dancers will add to the great atmosphere at the Madejski.
