Team News
There is one change to the starting line-up of the team that played Gloucester on Saturday last. Nick Kennedy starts in the second row alongside Bob Casey. Ryan Strudwick moves to blindside flanker. Robbie Russell fractured his thumb while away training with Scotland on Monday which means that Academy hooker, David Paice is on the bench. Declan Danaher makes a welcome return to the squad having recovered from a hamstring injury. Unavailable for selection through injury are: Adam Halsey (foot), Peter Poulos (shoulder), Robbie Russell (hand) and Doug Wheatley (hand). Commenting on the Sunday's match, Head Coach, Gary Gold said, "On Sunday we face what we still regard as the ultimate test in any Premiership season, Martin Johnson and his Leicester Tigers. Their forward power allied to the skills they possess in their talented backs mean we will have to be at our very best to contain them and sneak a result.
"Believe me Sunday's result is crucial to us as we seek to regain 'fortress' status for Madejski Stadium. We have no illusions about the difficulty of that task. The Leicester pack is as physical as they come and if you don't match them, you don't get into the match. We are hoping for a large and vocal home crowd because we will need all the help we can get to stem our run of poor results against the Tigers."

Rugby returns to the Madejski!
Premiership rugby returns to Reading this Sunday, when London Irish will take on Martin Johnson's Leicester Tigers in their first Madejski match of the season (kick off 3.00 p.m.).
The Madejski Stadium have installed a new ticketing system over the summer to ultimately improve the ticketing service for London Irish and Reading FC spectators. Unfortunately during installation the ticketing system has been experiencing teething problems, which are currently being addressed. London Irish would like to offer apologies to anyone who may have experienced problems with the ticketing system and is encouraging fans who are planning on coming to the game on Sunday to persevere.
Tickets are still available from www.london-irish.com or from the ticket hotline 0118 968 1000, or in person from the ticket office. Alternatively, tickets will still be on sale from the ticket office on Sunday. There will be live Irish music in the North Stand from 1.30pm and the Hotel bars will also be open from 12noon, so please arrive early at the Stadium and allow yourself plenty of time if collecting / buying tickets on the day.
Please note that Reading FC have a home game this Saturday (18 September) and so this will be an especially busy time for the ticket office and not a good time to try and get through on the ticket hotline.
Don't forget that the Megastore is open from 12noon on Sunday, so come early and take a look at the new leisurewear range and accessories on offer. The merchandise unit will also be open.
