KIDS GO FREE to see the World Cup

Kids Go Free at the London Irish vs. London Wasps match at the Madejski Stadium on Saturday, 27 December (2.45pm kick off). A whole host of yuletide fun is guaranteed, giving the whole family the perfect excuse to have a break from turkey sandwiches!

The Rugby World Cup trophy will be on show at the Madejski on the 27th. The Cup will only be on show in the seated bowl at half time and spectators are encouraged to arrive early to get the best seat to see the coveted trophy!  On this occasion London Irish can't provide individual photo opportunities with the trophy (except for hospitality guests). However, the club will have the Webb Ellis Cup again in the new year - further details will be announced next month.

An international battle will take place on the pitch on the 27th - see Exiles' internationals Justin Bishop, Kieron Dawson, Bob Casey, Phil Murphy and Naka Drotske take on England World Cup stars Lawrence Dallaglio and Josh Lewsey.

There's also plenty going on besides the rugby for younger spectators, or simply the young at heart! Rugby-goers are being encouraged to keep warm and look fashionable by entering the Best Hat Competition!  A Touch Rugby tournament on the pitch will see the LISC Flatulent Fairies do battle against the Lardon Wasps - a mini match not to be missed!  Free kids' tickets (with a paying adult) can be booked either via the website (www.london-irish.com) or ticket hotline (0118 968 1000).

Win Guinness to enjoy with your friends 

We all enjoy fast, open, attacking rugby with lots of tries ......... especially when London Irish are scoring them. With the season now in full swing, our friends at Guinness, are offering you the chance to win cans of their famous brew by correctly forecasting the total number of points that will be scored in the next home game against London Wasps on Saturday 27th December.

Our competition winner will receive a can of cool, refreshing Guinness Draught for every point scored when London Wasps visit the Madejski Stadium later this month. So points will mean pints that day!  The winner will also receive a Guinness t-shirt.

To enter, all you have to do is send an e-mail to competition@london-irish.com, with your Name, Address and a Contact Telephone number (please state whether Home, Work or Mobile) plus the total number of points you think will collectively be scored in the London Irish vs. London Wasps match on Saturday 27th December.

The closing date for entries is Friday 26th December. Entrants must be aged 18 or over. In the event of there being more than one correct entry, the Guinness prize will go to the first one pulled from the hat. The judge's decision is final.
