HISTORIC VICTORY IN THOMOND PARK

Last night at Thomond Park, London Irish recorded an historic victory against Munster in the first match of their week long training camp in Limerick.  They next take on Connacht in Galway on Friday evening, kick off 6.30p.m.

TICKET INFORMATION FOR 04-05 SEASON

Match tickets for the 04-05 season will go on general sale from Monday 23rd August.  Please note that only Leicester Tigers match tickets will be available.  The remaining matches up until the end of December 2004 will go on general sale from Wednesday 1st September.

Season Tickets will be posted out by the end of August.

IMPORTANT NEWS REGARDING PRE-ORDERED SHIRTS

Please note that there has been an unexpected delay with the delivery of  the 04-05 away shirt. These orders will now be depatched on Tuesday 31st August and to ensure that you receive your shirt before the first game of the season, they will be sent by Special Delivery at no extra cost.  Orders for home shirts are not affected.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

ROQUES JOINS ELITE PLAYER SQUAD 
 
The RFU has announced that Anthony Roques of London Irish has been added to the Elite Player Squad (EPS) for the 2004-2005 season. Roques takes the number of players under the EPS to the anticipated 60 and the number of sevens players, under the management of coach Mike Friday, to five.

Said RFU Performance Director Chris Spice, "Tony was between clubs when we announced the EPS last month. He has now signed for London Irish who have agreed his inclusion."

Conor O'Shea, Managing Director of London Irish said, "London Irish has a great relationship wth Joe Lydon and Mike Friday. The club is delighted that Tony has been selected, he will be a strong addition to the squad." 

LAST CALL FOR TWICKENHAM MASCOT ENTRIES!

 

Calling all Digger Club members - the deadline to enter the Twickenham mascot competition is this Friday!

 

15 Digger Club members will win the prize of running out with the London Irish team at the Double Header at Twickenham.   To enter just complete the following phrase in 15 words or less and email your answer to digger@london-irish.com:

Non members - will be accepted subject to their joining LISC, they will given a membership application form which will be collected on coach.

LONDON DOUBLE HEADER


The start of the Zurich Premiership season is nearly upon us, have you got your tickets for the London Double Header yet?  With just over three weeks to go, the anticipation is building for this unique event. 

 

The day begins with the opening of the Village in the West Car Park at 11.30am, featuring live music, club displays, merchandise and of course Guinness!  Make sure you don't miss a special 'dance off' between Digger and the other club mascots.  There will also be face painters and autograph signing sessions with non-matchday squad players.  And all this before a ball has been kicked!

 

Don't forget that your ticket entitles you to watch both matches and enjoy the festivities both pre and post match, including music from the Melody Fakers at midday and a set from Le Cheile at 6.00pm.

 

Tickets are on sale now for this inaugural event that will see London Irish v NEC Harlequins, and Saracens v London Wasps playing back-to-back. The best way to purchase tickets is to download the application form and pay by Cheque or Debit Card.

If you are a Season Ticket holder for the 04/05 Season, you will have been sent details on how you can apply for your match ticket(s) and additional match tickets at a discounted rate.
