DIGGER TAKES OVER THE BLARNEY!

Hello wolfhound lovers and welcome to my special summer Digger Blarney!  Did you know there are less than five weeks to go until the first London Irish game of the season against Gloucester on Sunday, 21 September?  We're going to have a massive party with a bouncy castle and live music, even Malachi from Fame Academy is flying over from Ireland to sing to us!

... I am the best mascot in the Zurich Premiership!

I really miss going to the Madejski for Irish matches but I've still had a great time this summer - it started very well by winning the Zurich Premiership Mascot of the Season award in June!  The photo is of Howard Thomas (Chief Executive of Premier Rugby) presenting me with my certificate, I was very excited!

MORE DOG WALKING

After running the Reading half marathon in March, I've been invited to run in the Mascots Grand National, which is at Huntingdon Racecourse on Sunday, 28 September.  I'll be running to raise money for the Jarrod Cunningham SALSA Foundation and The Princes Trust (Huntingdon Racecourse's official charity).  Drop me an email on digger@london-irish.com if you would like to sponsor me.
