EAST STAND SOLD OUT, ALREADY!

The London Irish St Patrick's Weekend celebrations are on course to be the biggest and best yet in 2004! The Premiership Club has opened the South Stand at the Madejski Stadium for their match against Bath on Sunday, 21 March (kick off 3pm). The East Stand has sold out in record time, over a month before the game kicks off!

South Stand Adult tickets cost £16 if bought via the on-line booking facility on the website, or £18 if booked via the ticket hotline – 0118 968 1000.   Tickets for the West Upper and West Lower can also be purchased in the same way.  Our ticket prices can be seen here.

The Kids Go Free offer still applies for tickets bought in all stands – one free children's ticket with a full paying adult (additional children's tickets cost £5 each). A ticket is required to enter the Stadium and free tickets must be booked by Friday, 12 March (offer does not apply to hospitality areas).

Very limited seats are still available for the West Lower Stand, and spectators planning to sit in the West Lower are advised to buy their tickets ASAP!

We would also like your assistance - if you have any of the 'FREE' tickets and you know that they are not going to be used, we would be grateful if you can return these and then they can be put back onto the system.  The tickets need to be returned to the Ticket Office.

CELEBRATE ST PATRICK'S WEEKEND IN STYLE

London Irish have pulled out all the stops to make sure that this season's celebrations are bigger than ever and that means a fantastic new limited edition jersey just for the match.

The 2004 limited edition St Patrick's Day Weekend jersey is in a traditional London Irish green with white shoulders and collar. The club crest is on the left hand side with St. Patrick's Day Weekend 2004 underneath.

And just in case you forget what you are drinking when you get to the bar there is a large pint of Guinness on the back of the jersey!  Most importantly the players will be playing in this special shirt on the day.

This jersey can be only pre-ordered until Wednesday 17th March or while stocks last.    For details of how to pre-order visit the London Irish website.

THE COMMITMENTS* TO HEADLINE AT ST. PATRICK'S CELEBRATIONS

London Irish is delighted to announce that The Commitments* will be headlining the outdoor concert at this years St Patrick's celebrations.

Alan Parker's black comedy film The Commitments was released in 1991, helping to re-launch true soul music to a younger audience.  Songs like Mustang Sally, Try a Little Tenderness, Take me to the River and Chain of Fools are now synonymous with The Commitments.

Dave Finnegan is one of the original stars of the film and has taken his Commitment's band on tour around the world, performing with soul legends including James Brown and Wilson Picket.  Sam Moore questioned 'How can a little white guy have a soul and a voice that's so black?!'

An outdoor stage at the Madejski Stadium will host live music from 12noon. London Irish favourites Le Cheile will also be playing live throughout the afternoon.
