PLAYER NEWS Congratulations to Justin Bishop and Kieron Dawson who have been named in Ireland's 40 man squad for World Cup training sessions taking place in early August. In the build-up to the World Cup in Australia in October, Ireland have warm-up games arranged at home to Wales on 16th August and Italy on 30th August. This will be followed by a trip to Murrayfield to play Scotland on 6th September. Safari Sevens A documentary of the London Irish trip to the Safari Sevens in June will be broadcast on Sky Sports 3 TV @ 8pm on Thursday 7th August.
MEET THE PLAYERS! Don't forget that there are just two weeks to go until the summer 'Meet the Players' evenings!
The Sunbury evening will be held at the London Irish training ground (The Avenue, Sunbury on Thames) on Wednesday, 13 August, and on Thursday, 14 August supporters will be welcomed at the Brewery Tap (Castle Street) in Reading. Both evenings will start at 7.30pm and twelve squad members will be present at each evening. It is not necessary for attendance to be confirmed as there will be an open door policy at the venues. The players in attendance on each night will be confirmed next week.

Our first match of the season is away to Leicester Tigers on Saturday, 13 September. Leicester do not put any of their tickets on sale until 6 weeks before the match (which would be 11 August) and therefore we would suggest that payment and ticket orders for the Tigers match be given to Tony Byrne. Once Tony has final numbers tickets will be block booked from Leicester. Leicester ticket prices are as follows; Crumbie Stand - Silver Tickets Terrace - Standing Tickets only (Concession is OAP, Student & 16-18)

Since our announcement that London Irish have added another date to the Touch Rugby festival calendar, touchrugby.com have been inundated with teams entering the three festivals held at the following venues: Staines RFC - Sunday 7th September (from 1.30pm onwards)Redingensians RFC - Wednesday 10th September (from 7pm onwards) Ealing RFC (Trailfinders) - Sunday 14th September (from 1.30pm onwards). The festivals are open to anyone over the age of 16 with the main emphasis being on fun and enjoyment in true Irish style! GET TOGETHER WITH YOUR FRIENDS AND ENJOY THE FUN! LISC PRE-SEASON FAMILY BBQ
The LISC Pre-Season Family BBQ is taking place on Saturday 2nd August at London Irish, The Avenue, Sunbury-on-Thames from 2.30pm 'til late! This is a summer afternoon to be spent in the company of friends with free admission, traditional BBQ fare, live entertainment, a raffle and some of the London Irish squad will be attending. This event is open to members and non-members. Non-members will be encouraged to join the ever growing band of revellers at a cost of only £5.
